For our Ready to Ship rugs and in-stock products, orders within the U.S. typically arrive within 3 to 10 business days, while orders to Canada and Mexico may take 8 to 15 business days. Please note that these timelines may be affected by unforeseen shipping or customs delays beyond Pampa’s control.

For Made-to-Order rugs, delivery will be arranged directly from Argentina upon the completion of your custom piece, following the timeframe provided by our team. If you have any questions about the Made-to-Order process, please don’t hesitate to contact us at help@pampa-us.com.

Regarding Pampa Prints

Please note that Pampa Prints are made to order; we do not keep an inventory. Once your order is received, the image file is sent to our photo lab for printing. After the print is completed, our team in Australia carefully inspects, packages, and ships your order.

Customers can expect to receive their Pampa Print within 15 to 20 business days. However, this timeline may vary slightly due to potential printing, shipping, or customs delays. Please also be aware that any import duties or taxes incurred are the full responsibility of the customer.

DOES PAMPA PROVIDE A WARRANTY ON RUGS & HOMEWARES?+-

Due to the handmade nature of Pampa’s woven products, we do not offer a formal warranty period for these items. However, if a customer experiences an issue with a Pampa product, we encourage them to contact us directly. Customer satisfaction is very important to us, and we are committed to reviewing and addressing concerns on a case-by-case basis.

Regarding Moth Infestation

Pampa does not provide a warranty for moth infestation. As outlined in our care + maintenance section, it is the customer’s responsibility to properly care for and maintain their rugs and other woven goods.

To protect your rug, we recommend:

  • Regularly vacuuming both sides.

  • Ensuring the rug is used and stored in a well-ventilated area, as 100% raw wool products are naturally susceptible to moths if neglected.

  • Having your rug professionally cleaned by a rug cleaning specialist as needed.

Proper care will help preserve the beauty and longevity of your Pampa rug.

HOW LONG WILL MY PAMPA RUG LAST?+-

Our rugs are designed to be durable, but regular maintenance is essential to keep them looking their best. In a residential setting, you can expect a Pampa rug to last at least five years with proper care, though this timeframe may be shorter if placed in high-traffic areas. That said, with diligent care and attention, a Pampa rug can last for decades, becoming a timeless part of your home.

HOW DO I KNOW WHICH PAMPA RUG IS RIGHT FOR MY SPACE?+-

Pampa rugs are divided into three distinct collections: Thick Weave, Intricate Weave, and Suncho. Each piece is an individual creation, meaning there can be significant variations between rugs within a collection, adding to their unique charm.

Thick Weave

Our Thick Weave rugs are crafted using heavier, chunkier wool threads, resulting in a robust and textured appearance. These rugs often feature striped designs in complementary colors or solid-color styles. The natural gradations in the wool’s texture and color are beautifully showcased in this heavy weave style, making them ideal for adding warmth and character to larger floor spaces.

Intricate Weave

Intricate Weave rugs are tightly woven from finely spun threads, allowing for more detailed and symmetrical designs. Produced on specialized looms, they often feature geometric shapes, intricate patterns, and a luxurious texture that is visually striking and soft underfoot. These rugs are also perfect for larger spaces with medium foot traffic, combining elegance with durability.

Both the Thick Weave and Intricate Weave collections are available for customization to suit your specific needs.

Suncho Collection

The Suncho collection features medium-sized rugs with a thinner weave, making them particularly suited to bedrooms and smaller living spaces. These pieces are designed to bring understated elegance to cozier areas of your home.

Additional Notes

To help you select the perfect rug, we include the weight alongside the dimensions of each piece in our online store. As a general rule, heavier rugs are less prone to movement and wear during use, offering added stability and durability.

If you have any questions, need a more detailed description of a particular rug, or would like assistance selecting the right piece, please don’t hesitate to email us at help@pampa-us.com. We’re here to help!

CAN I PURCHASE A CUSTOM RUG FROM PAMPA?+-

Yes, we regularly collaborate with clients to create their own bespoke Pampa rugs. Click here to learn more about our custom rug process.

Please note that because all our rugs are handmade, dimensions may vary by up to 3% from the ordered size. While every effort is made to minimize color variation, up to 5% variation is possible due to the natural dyeing process.

We also welcome you to visit our Venice showroom, where you can sit down with a sales consultant, explore our collections, and work on digital designs tailored to you or your clients’ specific needs.

DOES PAMPA OFFER RUG SAMPLES?+-

Unfortunately, providing rug samples can be a bit challenging for us. Creating samples requires significant effort from our weavers due to the complex loom setup, so we only have the samples used for designing rugs available in our showroom. However, you can order yarn color samples here.

WHERE AND HOW ARE PAMPA RUGS SOURCED?+-

All Pampa rugs are sourced directly from skilled weavers in remote regions of Argentina. We collaborate with these artisans because of their deep traditional knowledge and exceptional craftsmanship. By commissioning a rug from Pampa, you ensure that the payment goes directly into the hands of the family who created it.

We regularly travel to Argentina to visit these weaving communities, strengthening our partnerships and gaining firsthand insight into their craft. During these trips, we not only purchase the rugs featured in our online store but also work closely with the weavers to develop new designs. This collaborative approach helps ensure that our business model remains sustainable and supports the longevity of these communities and their traditions.

WHAT MATERIALS ARE USED TO MAKE PAMPA RUGS, THROWS AND PILLOWS?+-

Pampa rugs are crafted from Argentinean sheep’s wool, offering the natural warmth and tactile grounding of authentic fibers—a connection to the earth that inspires awareness and presence.

All of our pillow covers are handmade from sheep’s wool and come with a cozy insert made from a PET-fiber blend. This eco-friendly fiber is derived from 100% post-consumer plastic water bottles. It looks, feels, and performs like high-grade polyfiber but is completely recycled. For every pound of PET fiber used, approximately 40 water bottles are diverted from landfills or oceans. The material is also 100% non-allergenic.

Our Puna throws are woven with pure llama fiber sourced from the Andes Mountains. This fiber is used in its natural colors straight from the llamas, with no additional dyeing processes involved.

Similarly, our scarves and ponchos are hand-loomed using a blend of sheep’s wool, llama fiber, and occasionally recycled cotton. Some of these pieces are naturally dyed, showcasing the harmony between sustainable craftsmanship and timeless design.

WHAT ARE SOME OF THE ADVANTAGES OF A HANDMADE PIECE?+-

Pampa rugs are entirely handmade from start to finish, beginning with the shearing of sheep’s fleece and culminating in the creation of a finished piece. Every rug is meticulously crafted on a handloom, powered solely by the weaver's strength, and all yarn is spun by hand. While natural dyes are primarily used, certain vibrant colors can only be achieved with synthetic dyes.

This handmade process ensures that no two Pampa rugs are ever identical. Unlike machine-manufactured rugs, which can achieve perfect replication, handwoven rugs embody unique charm, character, and authenticity. They are infused with the love, passion, culture, and experience of their creators—qualities no machine can replicate.

The weavers and their families take immense pride in their craft, and this pride is woven into every Pampa rug. As the new owner of a handwoven rug, you not only bring a piece of art into your home but also a story filled with tradition and care. Handwoven rugs can hold, and even increase, their value over time—something rarely seen with machine-made alternatives.

WHY DOES MY RUG HAVE IMPERFECTIONS OR ORGANIC MATTER IN THE WEAVE?+-

At Pampa, all our woven goods are handmade using traditional techniques, which means slight imperfections are a natural and celebrated part of their charm. These can include variations in color tones or the way threads are finished at the ends of the weave. We believe these unique characteristics add to the beauty and authenticity of each piece, reflecting the artistry and heritage of the weavers.

Our artisans work with 100% raw sheep wool, sourced directly from the sheep they care for. These sheep roam freely in the dry forests surrounding their homes, brushing up against trees and shrubs as they graze. The wool is lovingly hand-cleaned before being spun and woven on traditional looms, but traces of plant matter, such as tiny twigs, may occasionally remain in the yarn as a testament to its natural origins.

Although we carefully inspect and clean every rug before shipping, some organic matter may still be present. If you find small twigs or debris in your rug, they can be easily removed by hand or with tweezers. Please avoid cutting the yarn, as this could affect the integrity of the weave.

If you have any questions or concerns, we’re always here to help at help@pampa-us.com. Each Pampa rug is a one-of-a-kind creation, connecting you to nature and the skilled hands that crafted it.

ARE PAMPA RUGS HYPOALLERGENIC?+-

Pampa rugs are made from 100% Argentinian sheep’s wool and are naturally hypoallergenic, antibacterial, and fairly easy to clean—making them an excellent choice for many allergy sufferers. Lanolin, the natural oil in wool, repels dust mites, mold, mildew, and bacteria, preventing them from settling in the fibers. Unlike synthetic materials or even some tightly woven rugs, which can trap allergens like dust mites and pet dander, wool actively resists these irritants. However, if you have a specific allergy to sheep’s wool or lanolin, a wool rug may not be suitable for you. Pampa rugs perform best in dry, well-ventilated environments, helping to maintain cleaner indoor air quality for those sensitive to common allergens.

WILL PAMPA RUGS AND WOVEN GOODS FADE?+-

Our rugs are crafted from natural wool fibers and, whenever possible, dyed with natural pigments derived from bark, plants, and the earth itself. As a result, subtle color changes may occur over time. This is part of the inherent beauty of natural materials—they age gracefully, developing a unique character that tells their story. We embrace this transformation as a natural part of the process.

To help minimize fading, we recommend keeping your rug out of direct sunlight and rotating or flipping it periodically for even exposure. Most of our rugs are designed to be reversible, allowing you to turn them over for a refreshed look whenever you like.

For more tips, please visit our care + maintenance page.

DO THE DYES USED IN PAMPA RUGS EVER RUN?+-

While it is rare for the dyes in Pampa rugs to run or migrate, it is possible, especially if the rug comes into contact with moisture. This is an important consideration when placing a colored rug on surfaces that may be affected by dye transfer, such as light-colored carpet.

Using a rug pad is highly recommended, as it creates a protective barrier between the rug and the surface below, preventing any potential dye migration. We suggest using a rug pad with all Pampa rugs, regardless of the floor surface.

When it’s time to clean your rug, always consult an experienced rug cleaning specialist. Improper cleaning methods can cause dye-related issues. For more details, please refer to our care + maintenance page.

WHERE CAN I FIND INFORMATION REGARDING CARE FOR MY RUG?+-

Please refer to our care + maintenance page.

HOW SHOULD I WASH MY PONCHO, SCARF OR THROW?+-

Pampa ponchos, scarves, and throws are crafted to endure through the seasons. To extend the lifespan of each piece, we recommend gently hand washing them in cold water and laying them flat to dry.

ARE PAMPA PRINTS ORIGINAL ARTWORK? +-

Yes, all of our fine art photographic prints feature original photography by Pampa co-founders Victoria Aguirre and Carl Wilson.

ARE PAMPA PRINTS LIMITED EDITIONS?+-

Not all of our Pampa Print series are limited editions, but many are. The limited edition prints are available in the following quantities: 100 (small), 75 (medium), 50 (large), and 25 (extra large).

WHAT SIZES ARE AVAILABLE FOR PAMPA PRINTS?+-

We offer four standard sizes: 15.7" x 23.6", 23.6" x 35.4", 29.5" x 44.1", and 55.1" x 35.4". Each print includes an additional 2" white border on all sides, so the total paper dimensions will be 4" larger than the listed size. If you need a custom size, please contact us, and we'll let you know if it's possible. Custom Pampa Prints can be made up to a maximum size of 39.4" x 59".

WHAT KIND OF PAPER IS USED FOR PAMPA PRINTS?+-

Pampa’s fine art prints are produced on premium 310gsm Canson Rag Photographique paper using Ultrachrome K3 pigment inks.

WHAT ARE MY OPTIONS FOR FRAMING MY PAMPA PRINT?+-

We recommend consulting with your local framing professional to explore your options. To accommodate various framing styles, we leave a 2-inch white border around our prints. While you can frame your print yourself with an affordable prefabricated frame, we don't recommend this due to the higher risk of damage. We believe that a fine art print on high-quality cotton photo rag deserves to be paired with equally high-quality framing.

HOW SHOULD I HANDLE MY PAMPA PRINT?+-

Ideally, you should avoid handling your print yourself and entrust this task to an experienced professional framer. We recommend leaving the print inside the mailing tube until it is removed by your framer. If you choose to frame the print yourself, please handle it with great care, as it is highly susceptible to marks or creases. Never touch the printed image with your fingers, as oils and dirt from your skin can cause damage. Always ensure that all staples are removed from the mailing tube before extracting your print.

WHAT SHOULD I KEEP IN MIND WHEN POSITIONING A PAMPA PRINT?+-

Position your Pampa Print in a location where it will not be exposed to moisture or direct sunlight.

HOW ARE PAMPA PRINTS PACKAGED?+-

We ship all of our prints carefully rolled in sturdy mailing tubes. Acid-free tissue paper is placed over the printed surface before rolling and also used to fill any empty space inside the tube, minimizing print movement during transit. The tube ends are securely stapled and taped to prevent the print from shifting and to protect it from external contaminants. To keep shipping costs affordable, we can pack up to three prints per tube.

WHAT IS PAMPA'S DAMAGES AND REFUNDS POLICY FOR PHOTOGRAPHIC PRINTS?+-

As we personally inspect and package each print, we ensure that they are shipped in perfect condition. If the mailing tube arrives damaged and the print itself is also affected to the point where it is deemed unusable, please email us photos as soon as possible. If we agree that the damage would impact the final appearance of the framed print, we will send you a replacement at no cost. Please note, Pampa does not offer refunds for simply changing your mind. Any damage to the outer edges (half inch) of the paper will not be considered significant, as it will be covered up during the framing process.

PLANTING TREES WITH US+-

To amplify our social impact and environmental efforts, we’ve partnered with the non-profit organization One Tree Planted to support crucial reforestation projects worldwide.

For every purchase made, we plant a tree. With each Pampa Rug or Print, we plant 5 trees, and for every other Pampa product, we plant 1 tree.

One Tree Planted is dedicated to large-scale reforestation efforts across the globe, focusing on regions where Pampa has roots, including Australia, Latin America, the U.S., and beyond.

This partnership reflects our commitment to offsetting our emissions and becoming environmental stewards in the areas where we work, while advocating for local ecosystems. It’s an important part of our mission to help build a healthier future for our planet.

IS CHILD LABOR USED IN PRODUCTION OF PAMPA RUGS?+-

Child labor is not used in the production of Pampa products. However, in the communities we work with, children are taught the art of weaving as part of their education, much like art or craft lessons in schools across the U.S. Many of these children continue weaving after completing school, as it offers a secure and sustainable future. Your purchase helps preserve this traditional art form, which is slowly disappearing from these regions.

HOW DOES BUYING A PAMPA RUG SUPPORT INDIGENOUS COMMUNITIES AND TRADITIONAL WEAVING?+-

Each and every Pampa rug that is sold helps contribute to the longevity of the beautiful art of weaving. As the demand for Pampa rugs increases, so too does the demand for weavers. Whether it’s the elder weavers maintaining their skills or younger weavers acquiring them, it all helps to assure that these traditional works of art will keep being produced for many years to come.

Not only does the production and sale of every Pampa rug help preserve traditional Argentinian weaving, it also improves living standards and creates well-deserved cultural pride for our weavers and their families.

WHAT IS PAMPA'S PRIVACY POLICY?+-

Pampa will not sell your personal information or contact details to any other party. We may email you our newsletter from time to time with special offers and/or new products. If you do not wish to receive our newsletter, please inform us and we will remove your details from our mailing list.
