Description + -

Pampa Ponchos are made by artisans who live on the salt flats and elevated plains of northern Argentina in a place known as the Puna.

To bring you our Pampa Ponchos, we’ve teamed up with Argentinean textile brand La Hilandería and the NGO Warmi project. The Warmi promotes financial stability for the remote communities of the Puna through projects in health, resource management and traditional crafts. Profits from the sale of woven textiles are used by the community to fund their children’s education.

Pampa Ponchos are woven with care and sourced directly from the artisans at a fair price. When you purchase a Pampa Poncho, you’re helping us trace the map that connects Argentina’s talented artisans with the global community.

Please note: Our Puna ponchos and scarves are woven from 100% natural llama’s wool and then dyed by hand using natural matter. Whilst we do our best to represent the colour accurately, wool is a raw fibre so please expect slight variations in gradient and tone.

Care and instructions + -

To ensure your natural wool scarf remains in pristine condition, it's important to handle spills and stains with care. Dry Clean only. Immediately blot spills with a clean cloth to prevent drying. Avoid harsh chemicals and machine or hand washing your entire scarf, as water exposure can cause deformation or colors to migrate.

Wool scarves, are also susceptible to pilling and moth damage. To prevent pilling, use a fabric shaver or clothing comb, and for long-term storage, avoid plastic bags—opt for a clean, dry space with good airflow to keep your scarf looking its best. Regular inspection and care will ensure that your luxurious wool piece lasts for years.
